Why operate ?

Cholecystectomy is required only in the case of symptoms (billious attacks ou hepatic colitis) with pain under the ribs on the right or in the centre of the stomach, spreading to the right shoulder, with nausea and vomitting (sometimes just digestive discomfort) or in the case of complications.

Removal

Since the world’s first coelioscopy performed by Doctor Philippe MOURET in Lyon, these operations have increased significantly and revolutionised surgery.

Risks

They are very low, apart from anaesthesia complications (very rare) and general complications associated with coelioscopic surgery (very rare).
